If we were having coffee, you might ask why I haven’t been posting a whole lot lately. I would tell you I hadn’t really noticed until today, but it’s probably for the best that I post when I have something to share, and not just to meet self-imposed quotas.
I have many interests that seem to ebb and flow: blogging, stained glass, gardening and landscaping (a newly formed interest), home improvement DIY projects, reading, poetry, walking my dog and taking photos, binge-watching entire seasons of my favorite programs on Netflix, playing with my grandkids, playing with my (adult) kids, playing with my food… and probably some other interests that are so far into the ebb stage I have forgotten them for now.
Blogging seems to be ebbing for a bit right now. With the rainy season coming up and more time spent indoors, my posts will likely pick back up. Be forewarned!
If we were having coffee, I would tell you that I took my dog Chules to a doggy daycare for the first time this week. It tuckered him out and he’s been napping a lot since. The daycare streams webcams of their play areas so you can see what your pet is up to at any given moment. I admit I spent a lot of time checking in on Chules.
There were a lot more white dogs in attendance than I expected, but I had no problem picking Chules out of the crowd. While other dogs walked or ran around, there was one dog that literally pranced in and out of the camera’s view. That would be my Chules. Perhaps I should have named him Prancer.
I’d better sign off for now. It’s time to attend to something that is definitely not one of my favorite pastimes: house cleaning. Thanks for stopping by and allowing me to put off my chores for a while. If you want to hang around, there’s a pile of clean laundry that needs folding.
No? Alright then. Have a good weekend. Hopefully you will find time to enjoy your favorite activities.
Thank you Diana at PartTimeMonsterBlog.com for hosting the #WeekendCoffeeShare.
There is ebb and flow and often one of my interests drives out all of the others, so i get it.

I guess I’m not very good at multi-tasking. Or would that be multi-playing?

I get it. i can write, but then I don’t write music. When I’m in a music phase i don’t draw. When I draw, well, you get the picture 😉

I completely understand “not posting a whole lot lately” – I’ve been feeling the same.
Work has been busy, and I don’t seem to have the energy to put into writing when I get home – and its winter here – so I’ve been getting home in the dark and just wanting to snuggle up somewhere warm.
I’ve learnt this year how much being outside has affected my writing and with less of that maybe that’s why I’m writing less. Maybe I need to just put on an extra jersey and take to the cold outdoors… 🙂

I’m the same way. I was complaining to someone once about not being able to get outdoors because of all the rain in the winter. Her response: “Do you own a raincoat?” Oh. That stopped my complaining.

Heyy Maggie
I liked your post
I am new to blogging and still figuring out how this works.
I need a technical support from you.
I have been trying to create space of a line or two between two paragraphs,
But it’s just not working and without that the article doesn’t look much appealing to me.
I would appreciate if you could help me with that ☺

Thank you for liking my post. When you are in “edit” mode to create or edit an existing post, underneath the line where you type the title of this post, there are two tabs: one says “visual,” the other is “html.” If you are writing in visual mode, you should be able to double space to get a space between paragraphs. If it doesn’t appear that way when you preview your post, sometimes you can go into the “html” tab, and where you want double spacing, you would type
& n b s p ; (minus the spaces).
That will force a double space.
Play around with it, and you will catch on. Good luck on your new blog. It’s fun!

Had to revise my response. The command to get a double space is
& n b s p ;
only without any spaces.

Things sure have changed since we had dogs. Dogs were still allow to run free and you didn’t pick them. Dggie day care centers with webcans. Right now I am in a reading phase and ignoring my blog.

I had never heard of such places until recently. Some cat boarding places offer you a choice of theme décor for the “rooms” where your cat is kept overnight, and piped in music if you want. I figure food, water and a clean litter box would suffice nicely. Besides, I’m not really sure what genre of music my cat prefers.
