The Daily Post’s weekly photo challenge: Names
I had flashes of colour from the memories of the Chihuly Museum in Seattle that we visited a few years ago. Nice photo.

Thank you. I’m hoping to get to the museum this spring.

Love his name, Maggie. I hope this guy’s work is as beautiful as his namesake’s. 🙂

Well, he’s very inspired and creative like his namesake, but the end results are quite disparate. 🙂

I presume this is Chules and his real name is Chihuly. What a cutie. Brisco was quite a bit older when he did his training. They didn’t call it kindergarten. His teacher said he was quite the single minded little boy! He didn’t really want to do all the commands. But he did graduate because I told him he had better do it or I was going to get him the awful spoked choke chain they suggested for him. In the end, patients and treats won him over. Now he does almost everything I ask him to do. He really is a good boy with out torture or spiked choke chains. 🙂

Yep, that’s Chules! Kindergarten was just for socializing. We didn’t do so well with actual obedience training, and Chules only pays attention to me when he wants to. I should work with him more, but I’m not very patient.

Two of my 6 Eskies flunked out. One because he wanted to eat the dogs around him and the other because he didn’t like anyone at all. They both lived long happy lives in our house. We don’t like too many people ourselves, I guess. Brisco is the most social Eskie I have ever had. He seems to love everyone. My husband often says things like “not being the brightest crayon” etc. 🙂

Chules is very protective, but good-natured otherwise. If you show up at the house with another dog, he’ll invite you in and show you where the jewelry is hidden, but not until he has romped with his new best buddy (your dog) for a good 20 minutes.

Thank you! As I recall, he chewed up his “diploma” shortly after that photo was taken.

Lol. Maybe that wasn’t taught in class 😛

If it was, he wasn’t paying attention that day 🙂
