Life Choices

Careening go I to the depths of my soul

To deliberate questions upon me bestowed.

Ponderous options, I’m bowed with the weight.

Considerations not dared left to fate.

The myriad choices, I –

“Ma’am? Your decision?”

“Chocolate. No. Vanilla. No. A scoop of each, please!”

    Ah yes…life choices. Reminds me of the Lyle Lovett song “Here I am” when after much contemplation he says “…if it’s not too late, make it a cheeseburger”
