I saw hundreds of people looking like this in the Badlands, where I was at the time of the eclipse. Didn’t get photos of them, though. 🙂

My neighbors watched from their rooftop, sitting in lawn chairs. Not sure how they managed that. I wish I’d photographed them.

What a day that was! My cousins from Pennsylvania travelled to Madras and paid to camp in a piece of sectioned off ranch field… they loved every minute!
Meanwhile, back in western Oregon…
I liked looking down as well… the eclipse shadows were little miniature pin camera images!
