lackadaisical
lizard luxuriates while
lying on a log

L is for Lizard.
#AtoZChallenge: 26 posts in April, topics to proceed alphabetically. Creating a theme for one’s blog challenge is optional. My theme for 2021: a three line alliteration each day (5-7-5, haiku-ish) with the first letter of each line the same as the letter of the day.
You’re having great word fun this month. The word lackadaisical is soo funny to me, probably because it lacks all the daisies. 😀

🙂 Now that’s what I’ll think of every time I hear that word.

My college roommate had blood circulation issues and thus was always cold. He’d turn up the thermostat in our room to what he called “lizard on a rock” heat. This poem reminds me of that.

Haha! I like to stay warm, but not lizard on a rock warm. That must have been uncomfortable for you.
