Are they crab apples? Beautiful photos and no, no words needed to kindle memories … great post.

These are currants, from the same bush as last week’s Wordless post when they were still quite green. I happened to walk by the plant on Tuesday and saw how much they had ripened. Might have to check it out next week, too. 😉
They do resemble crab apples, too, don’t they?
