off Broadway

o opossum

opossums play dead
outwitting predators who’d
otherwise prevail

O   O is for opossum.

#AtoZChallenge: 26 posts in April, topics to proceed alphabetically. Theme optional.

My theme: a three-line poem each day (5-7-5, haiku form) with the first letter of each line the same as the letter of the day.

Amusing one – opossums is a great ‘O’ to get in there!

  2. Loving how you’re managing these haiku. I saw an opossum playing dead and it was very convincing indeed.
