I’m so thankful for the screen on the window.
I don’t want you invading my living space.
I know you’re part of the ecosystem and all that,
but truth be told, you really creep me out.
I mean, really creep me out.
As in, whenever I see one of you
I just want to squish you, even if
you are doing me no harm whatsoever.
But I guess I should be more magnanimous than that.
Live and let live, you know?
After all, it was you who planted the corn
that I’m going to nibble on for breakfast.
Here’s hopping that you don’t find your way
through the screen today.
The Daily Post daily prompt: Screen
Ha amazing. I already have a Nat buzzing round my head. I thought these things only lived for 24 hours?

Three to five days. You might have to put up with your buddy for awhile longer. 🙂

I feel the same way about flies… bees… etc.

It’s mostly just spiders and wasps for me. Oh, and stink bugs.

Stink bugs seem to be omnipresent at times!

And they buzz so loudly when they fly, and fly erratically so you can never figure out where they’ll end up. Yuck!

It’s her talking to you, right? 🙂 I like this reversal very much. Ecosystem, right… what can we do? 😉

Yes, role reversal. Maybe in the animal kingdom, humans are a plague.
