I’ve been thinking about my response to you ever since I posted it, and hoping you didn’t think I was being snarky. I meant that perhaps some would like to do/say whatever they want in the moment, without there being any future consequences. Instead of planning what their legacy might be and living accordingly, they’d rather leave no legacy at all.
Does that sound any less snarky?

I didn’t think it snarky at all. I thought I knew what you meant I just wasn’t sure. Too many live for the moment never considering their generational echo. No one gets away without leaving one. Unthoughtful lives leave Unthoughtful echoes.
