      Obedient isn’t a word that is usually associated with him. We have an unspoken understanding, though. On our walks, if he stops and holds still when I want to photograph something, I extend the same courtesy when he wants to stop and sniff something. Not every time, though, or our outings would never make it past the front door.

      Thank you! I’d never encountered bird warnings before, but they were certainly merited. There were tons of birds swooping across the path in that particular area.

        I’ve never seen a bird warning before either. That’s just so awesome! 😆 That reminds me: My sister and I went up north to Mackinac Island recently and I noticed something that amused my Lower Peninsula self: They don’t have deer crossing signs up there. They have bear crossing signs. It’s like the bears totally trump deer up there. 😆
